Matt’s-

I prefer to shave matt’s out, it’s much kinder to the animal. If there are only a few, I can sometimes use thinning shears to preserve the style. I can also modify the style to be more pet friendly, simply by shortening up the existing cut. Another way is shaving the tummy, armpits and inner legs, which are the most painful areas and where matt’s occur most frequently. This works especially well with Cocker, Shit-Tzu and Schnauzer styles.
